Málaga is getting ready for the most awaited opening of the season. Sophie arrives for the first time in the city with a special lineup full of talented artists. The groovy techno of Anfisa Letyago and Dubfire‘s creativity join Marlie, an Australian that hipnotizes with her blend of house and minimal; Anthea, a vinyl lover that will guide us in a journey through different styles of electronic music, always with funk energy and a great technic in the mix; and Leo Pol, coming from France with his synthesizers mixed on a techno and house base. An unforgettable clubber experience. Cocoa will lead the Tunnel Stage with a selection of local talent besides 2 international artists, Manda Moor and Joey Daniel, and on the Modular Stage, Roots, the collective from Madrid awaits us with their minimal housy proposal.

Talking about Dubfire is talking about electronic music history. From his beginnings in the duo Deep Dish, through his long solo career traveling all over the world, leading the SCI+TEC label, or being part of the lineups of the most important advanced music festivals on the planet, Dubfire has left his mark with his minimalist techno style. Pure class.
Sophie Festival joins once again its local and global community of fans on Saturday, June 3rd to celebrate the first big party of its second season. It does so by looking towards the future, debuting a new space and with a completely renovated immersive staging where electronic music, art and technology will come together to offer a day and night that will combine dance music with the most authentic and select sounds of the moment.
The programme will combine international talent with the top artists of the national minimal and contemporary Malaga sound.
Main Stage: The main stage will feature a classy lineup, with names from the international electronic scene with high-level sessions that will offer a sound journey that will increase in intensity as the night approaches to end on a high note.
The day will begin with Australian artist based in London, Marlie, a true star of the new minimalist sound; followed by British avant-garde DJ, producer, vocalist, captain of the Partisan label and a true underground heroine of the London scene, Anthea.
The night will end with two international references of the current techno scene, with very different careers that will display their charisma, talent and energy on the dance floor: DJ and producer Dubfire, a classic of minimalist techno, and Neapolitan DJ and producer Anfisa Letyago, champion of the deep techno sound marked by the groove and her talent as a selector capable of setting any great stage in the world on fire.
Tunnel Stage x Cocoa: faithful to their origins and proud of their Malaga land, Sophie Festival wanted to share this great party with one of the most important local collectives, Cocoa, who will offer a showcase at the Tunnel, the festival’s second stage, with their resident artist and project founder, Art No Logia.
Modular Stage x Roots: the third stage will be led by the Madrid collective Roots, champion of the minimal and electro sound of the capital with their parties at the Goya Social Club. Mouilin, Felipe Bravo and Alci, resident DJ of the Caprices festival in Switzerland, will make us dance with their house and minimal techno sound.
The art of the future will be another of the main axes of this new edition, and for this, the prestigious Barcelona avant-garde art festival MiRA Festival will join Sophie to put the finishing touch on the festival’s immersive experience.
Sophie is an outdoor, inmersive and multisensory festival that inspires clubbers from all around the globe with its stunning lineup with more than 140 international artists and more than a hundred live acts. Nine nights in Málaga, on the banks of the Mediterranian, where the electronic music, digital art installations and visual mazes will make you live an experience from the future.
